Is there a way (or a planned feature) to have nested dropdowns? For example, if I have 2 columns - Categories and subcategories, then being able to restrict subcategory “select” and “multiselect” based on the categories column?

I think what you are asking for is known as ‘Dependent picklist’ in salesforce. For eg, Countries and States. If you choose US as a Country, you can only choose from States in US in the dependent picklist.
Car make and model selection is another example.
It makes sense as a roadmap item, we’ll update this thread once we decide where to place it down the road.
