Are there any plans for a related rows lookup function that works on a cell by cell basis? I need to look up different values from different spreadsheets to create the sheet I’m trying to create but this does not seem to be possible.
Welcome @Rudi_Halbright. We do plan to allow use of the related row lookup datatype at the range and individual cell level. Currently, as you’ve found, it is only available at the column level.
There is a broader set of features planned around this including a more powerful syntax for referencing related data in formulas, and cross-workbook formulas (beyond cross-worksheet). It will take us time to get there but wanted to confirm that we agree with you on the need for this.
