Workbook message view vs row messages

The workbook messages view only shows workbook and cell messages - is there any way to include row messages/comments?

This is the scenario: I am building a workbook to use for documentaries that I work on. The director needs to be able to view the various workbook sheets to gain an overview of where shots are at. In my experience, these are people who do not spend much time with spreadsheets so keeping things as simple as possible is a big deal to get them to interact with my setup, hence my question. In an ideal world cell, workbook and row comments would all show up in the workbook messages to avoid having to view message in two separate places.

Additionally it would be really useful to be able to view cell comments in the row overview. Is this possible?

Many thanks.
