How can I identify and share the URL to bring users to a specific view in a workbook. If I just copy the link through “sharing workbook” or just copy the address in the browser the result is inconsistent. Some users get to the view, others get to the primary view of the workbook (I’m working with workbooks with 30+ views and not all users are familiar with navigating to a spreadsheet view, therefore the need). We won’t be showing the default viewID in the Browser when we land on to a workbook.
Specific URL’s for the views will be shown in the browser, only when we navigate through the views.
How to identify the View URL’s?
When we switch to different views in a workbook it will show as
“.app.spreadsheet.com/workbooks/{WSID+workbookID}/{SheetID}/{ViewID}”
