Update Sort/Filter Without Refreshing?

Is there a way to have the filter and/or sorting update in real time, as opposed to having to refresh the page each time a change is made?

We are considering adding real-time filtering and sorting, however, even today you do not need to refresh the page. A faster way is to open the Filter dialog and click the “Apply” button:
