Cannot indent row

After inserting a row below an indented row, I cannot indent the new row to match the one above it. Why would this be?

On inserting a row below an indent-row, by default the new row will be at the same level indent-level as the marker-row. Request you to share a sample workbook ( or even a screenshot ) to help us troubleshoot this issue further.

In closing, would also like to point out, there are few exception to indenting behavior:

  • Indenting is not supported for views with sort/group/filter.
  • Indenting behavior may come across as odd when adding new rows in filtered/sorted views as marker-rows are not sequential in such views and indenting imposes requirement that a hierarchy should be continuous and linear sequential.
