I’ve been constantly running into this issue with image uploads in the past couple of days where images don’t receive thumbnails.
This can happen via copy and paste (shown) or just dragging in from the desktop.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Hi @Jesse_Wallace, thank you for reporting this. We are aware of this happening with certain image upload flows and are investigating now. Apologies for the inconvenience, this will be a high priority fix for us and we’ll keep you posted here.
@Jesse_Wallace This issue has been fixed. In short there was an infrastructure-level problem with part of our attachment thumbnail creation service, resulting in thumbnail image generation failing in some cases. While all files were uploaded successfully, some files uploaded yesterday may have missing thumbnails. We have put in place new measures to prevent this from happening in the future.
