Welcome to the community.
We have a bug open for this. Export to excel, today, does not factor in the view. We will limit export to excel for owners and managers until then.

Hi there! Thank you for the response. Just to clarify, which roles currently are able to Export to Excel? I checked and editors are allowed to do that.
It is allowed for all roles today.
We will update this thread when the bug is fixed.
